The trip was interesting. Special thanks to my tour guide @tashi TT and driver TP for bringing us to feast in local delights MOMO corner. Super chili paste ! Appreciate our guide patience walking us up and down the mountain and cliff to visit tiger nest and helping with the photos when most of us are only focusing on the climb. We left our bags outside tiger nest as there was not enough locker. It was such a safe country. Thank you Bhutan !

You're right tears almost drop when Tashi wave πŸ‘‹πŸΏ good bye at airport. I would surely like to thank your company's hospitality and the warm welcome we received , guide Tashi and driver Dorji (hope their name spelled right). Tashi is great and I particularly like his style so cool, so calm 😎 just like the Kingdom of Happiness😁 the feeling of simple , clam and stress free , carbon free wherever we go.

I learned a lot from him too from his view on happiness and his speech on all the places of attraction in this trip.

We had an amazing time in Bhutan. It was everything we hoped for and more. First, I would like to start out by saying how much we enjoyed having Tashi as our guide and Sangay as our driver. Sangay was the sweetest man and always so happy and his spirit was contagious.

We also just loved Tashi. He was very knowledgeable in all of the stories about Buddha and the lamas and the divine madman, etc. and he was an excellent story teller. He keeps our attention and was very thorough with everything. And he just has this fun, outgoing, adaptable personality. He understood our jokes and we felt he was more or a peer or colleague than a guide. We sort of adopted him into the group, and we had so much fun together. He gave us space when we wanted to just hang out at a coffee shop or go to a karaoke bar.

So he stuck to the itinerary but was very flexible and we enjoyed this. And we went to several good restaurants for lunch and dinner that we really enjoyed. Overall it was an awesome experience. I would recommend you guys to anybody who wanted to travel to Bhutan. Thanks so much for everything.

Dear Sonam,

I completed the survey form provided by the guide on my last day and indicated my rating of excellent for both guide and driver. But I do want to expand on that a bit.

My guide, Tshering Dendup, was one of the best, if not the best guide I've ever had and that is comparing to our travels to around 100 countries in the past 15 years. His knowledge of both Buddhism and the history of Bhutan is encyclopedic. In addition he has broad knowledge in a wide variety of subjects, especially the flora and fauna of the country. Beyond that, he was able to note my preferences, eg food, kinds of sites to visit and make adjustments to accommodate me as much as possible without my asking.

I also want to make special compliments to the driver, Mr. Rabgay, who had to drive under extremely difficult road conditions. There was construction and rain causing deep mud that he maneuvered through with the greatest safety and minimum discomfort for me for almost 10 hours one day. It was also great that he had excellent Bhutanese music to play on the radio.

The only negative comment abut the tour was the relatively set menus at restaurants with little choice of alternatives. All things considered, a great trip that I'll never forget.

Regards,

Roger

Dear Sangay,

I apologise for having not replied to your e-mail before!

My trip to Bhutan was great! The country is just fantastic and both, the guide and the driver, were really excellent. In fact, I was really touched by their constant good will in turning this trip as comfortable and interesting and possible and in no single moment have they given me any reason to complain about. I am really grateful for their kindness and interest.

On what is related to the country, Bhutan provided me much more than I was expecting, not only in terms of its beauty, but especially on what is related to the fantastic monasteries and temples that can be found in every corner of this small territory.

In other words, I have only got reasons to thank you and the guide and driver who took me around this amazing country for a memorable trip to the Land of Happiness!

All the best and I will contact you again in the future, as I really want to come back to your country when I can.

Regards,
Pietro

Dear Sonam,

I want to say a huge thank you, Kadin chey!

I had the most amazing experience in Bhutan, it's difficult to know where to start! The service was incredible from the outset, my guide Tashi and driver Tingley, were incredibly warm and kind, and very professional.

The highlights for me were: a Tango monastery on the first full day of touring, walking the amazing 4km nature trail through the alpine forest and across the higher elevation plains to see the beautiful cranes in Gangtey (and the traditional farmhouse lunch I had there in Gangtey), and then of course visiting the powerfully beautiful tigers nest. Every day was truly so etching new and different, I felt like I saw so much in my short week there!

My guide Tashi was really was also beyond my expectations, he was so knowledgeable and he taught me so much about Buddhist culture and Bhutanese history, and this made my trip all the more special.

The hotel Norbuling and hotel Lobesa were both beyond my expectations- very beautiful and comfortable and amazing service, especially the hotel Lobesa. I think all of your guests visiting the region should stay there, what a magnificent view! I did find the hotel Metta in Paro was a little run down and cold in comparison to the first 2 hotels, but I still had good service in the restaurant there.

I was very sad to leave Bhutan, I must say! I can't wait to come back to do a trek to the high altitude lakes one day soon! I will recommend all my friends to use your service at Druk Asia if ever travelling to Bhutan, as I was most impressed with your level of service.

I have attached a few screenshots from my Instagram posts (I did tag #DrukAsia for several of them, so feel free to 're-gram' them on social media if you wish.

Warm regards,
Saschveen Singh

Hi Sonam,

Thank you very much for your email.

We had a great trip - Tashi, our tour guide was very good, friendly, funny, helpful and professional and the driver was also very friendly, helpful and drove very very responsible, which made for a very relaxing trip.

Overall the trip was great, including the hotels.

Only suggestion from my side would be in regards to the itinerary - I think for some days the itinerary leaves quite a lot of "unused" space, which could probably be filled with an additional hike etc. - given that shopping and/or exploring is quite limited in most of Bhutan, there is not that much to do on your own.

In regards to Gangtey, while we in the end had a wonderful day, it would have been good if you would have pointed out before that the black crane research centre is currently closed due to renovation ... Tashi did come up with a good itinerary for that day in the end, but when we were first asked whether we actually want to go to Gangtey, as the drive is quite long and the centre is closed, we did not really know what else was there to see - in the end, we decided to go and had a great time, but it would have been better if you could have pointed this out to us in the beginning, so that we might have decided up front whether we would like to go there or plan something else for the whole day.

I attach a few photos - happy for your to use them for the future... I think they aptly describe the great time we had. (I left out the one's of Tiger's Nest as I guess you have heaps of that one already)

Best regards,
Alexandra Will

My trip was great. Supposedly I set some type of record for getting to the second viewpoint at Tiger's Nest in little less then an hour. It was so beautiful. Thank you for everything. I sent you links to all the photos I took over my ten day tour (you can probably ignore the first ten or so). I would recommend if possible that for single travellers like myself that if you are choosing hotels that are not near any activities that can be done in the evening that you make sure that they have TV or internet as I had a few very boring evenings with nothing to do. Otherwise my tour was great as were Tashi and Melon. By the way I found my pill case, it was lost in the bottom of my suitcase.

My dear Eve, good afternoon

I wanted to thank you for the good care you took of our guest Mr. Meir Mizrahi during his visit of Bhutan; And to forward his personal thanks.
He called me yesterday to thank me, stressing the fact that his stay in Bhutan was a real success, that the handling of all the services provided by you were excellent, and that he was highly satisfied. He promised to talk to his friends and colleagues and we both hope that more people will have the pleasure and joy of visiting your country.
As this was a first experience as far as I am concerned, this fantastic feed-back is of the utmost importance for our future cooperation.
Once again a BIG thank you to you and all your colleagues. Please forward my thanks to all of them. It is important.

Kindest regards
Marlene Ferron
